A heroine’s journey, explained through archetypes by visual artist Sya Warfield, tells a compelling visual narrative. The message shares how continuing to bring balance to oneself, results in changing the world around her. This effervescent collection combines a variation of color palettes, faded gradients and bold elements of nature with a protagonist approach featuring creative portraiture.
Exhibited works include framed prints in a limited edition of 5. Displayed as floating prints with a hand torn deckle edge created only the highest quality materials; archival inks on acid free cotton rag paper, anti reflective glass and framed with white wood.
Where all things are interconnected within infinite realms, this collection is considered to be totem works of art intended to serve as a tool to heal the parts of you that need nurturing.
Inspiration comes from David Hockney’s photomontages. Influences include the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi (侘寂). I aim to upcycle, reconstruct and deconstruct materials in my storytelling approach to visual narratives.
